Varian Orchards was established in 1914 when the farm was sold to truck farmer, Wellman T. Varian and his wife, Emma. The farm has remained in the family and is owned by Reed & Nancy Varian and Dean & Ruth Varian. The north part of the farm has remained a working orchard since it began with three generations living on the farm at the present time. Reed & Nancy’s son, Cliff, and his wife, Megan, and their four children also live on the farm and assist with the venue operations.
The orchard has apple and peach trees, wooded forest, a 6 acre lake, open fields, and wildflower gardens. It also includes a 5K/10K running path which has been the home to the Community Harvest “Harvest Moon Race” for 8 years.
The Orchards and grounds are a perfect backdrop for your engagement, wedding, and families photos. The orchards, the woods, the lake, and the rustic buildings, as well as and apple crates and farm equipment, make unique pictures and pleasant places for your guests to enjoy.
